PRICE TO RECEIVE A CALL ON A HOME PHONE
There is no charge if the call is not connected, or if the person receiving the call chooses not to accept the call and the charges. All 1800 Reverse charge calls accepted on home phones are charged to the regular telephone account.
All 1800 Reverse calls to home phones are charged a call connection fee and a call talktime charge. The call connection fee is €3.039 and includes the first 30 seconds of talktime. The call talktime charge depends on whether the call is coming from a mobile, payphone or fixed line plus the length of the call.
If the person making the call is unable to have their call connected (for example if there is no one at home to answer) and instead leaves a reverse charge message, the receiver of the message will be charged €3.039 if they choose to receive the recorded message and have it played to them.
